Even though I'd love to see DM and the Cavs flame out and get us lined up for some high draft picks, I'd rather see them take out the Celtics. I'm not expecting it the same way I didn't expect the Heat to make it a real series after they won their game 2 but I can't stand the Celtics and Lakers...
I mostly lurk and rarely post but this is a great thread. Will his Knicks even take him after he ditches Cleveland at this point? How much of a discount would he have to give them?
I am with Cy on this one, the Brook Lopez comparison makes no sense. Lopez was always a good free throw shooter like has already been mentioned, and he also had much more of an offensive game in the post and midrange than Kessler does.
I have a cleaning the glass subscription, and here's what...
The tweet got posted to reddit and someone had a similar question. This was Andy's response:
"I’ll say this much… it wasn’t like a “maybe” situation, where I might have misinterpreted players’ feelings. If you were in my shoes and heard what they said, you 100% would come away with that same...
Personally I'm more upset with this trade than the Fontecchio trade, I had always liked Olynyk's game so I was happy to have him on the Jazz. If I were DA I would have been trying to resign him in the offseason not trade him.
Weird trade unless it means Hendricks is going to start getting minutes. I don't think Fontecchio is anything special but he's better than what I would expect from an average 2nd round pick.
Just saw the update get posted as I was typing, Knox kind of sucks imo but at least he's another warm...
If DM had even a slight bit of interest in playing defense in the playoffs of the 20-21 season. It would have been tough to beat Phoenix but that version of our team usually played well against Milwaukee.
Idk if DM playing defense meets the realistic qualifier though.
If Quickly is so amazing that the Jazz should be trading multiple picks for him and signing him to a big contract, why is he only getting 24 mpg and why would the Knicks entertain trading him?
I don't follow the Knicks so this is a real question. Is it just because they already have Brunson and...
I don't think any of these recent reports are convincing me that we are going to trade Lauri. It feels more like other teams are trying to artificially plant the idea in the Jazz's heads Inception-style.
I don't understand why it's a bad outcome to take the #9 guy on your board with pick #9. I guess there's an expectation that someone is going to fall past the pick you had them rated as? It seems foolish to me to operate assuming another team will make a mistake.
What draft spot does it start...
Why do we need to get rid of him just because he hasn't started the season well? It's not like he has a big contract that's crippling the team and there's no reports of a locker room problem. And even if the non-shooting defense first center player type isn't as useful as it once was, he's the...
Last year, nba.com had Lauri as #5 in terms of lowest fg% allowed while defending within 6ft of the basket. It doesn't appear that the stats are up to date for this season yet (I didn't see any Jazz players listed at all for this season on the defense dashboard) but anecdotally it seems like...
