I remember when I was a kid just starting high school, and JazzFanz went nuts when we acquired a guy that was destined to be a 20/10 player just starting his career.

Fast forward to 2022 and everybodies hating the idea that we could get the #1 pick from 2 seasons ago that has 20/10 upside written all over him.

Ayton could be twice the player Boozer was, just saying.

I like the idea a lot but it sounds like the KD trade will run through Phoenix and Ayton is the key piece going out.

That being said, part of me wants to just roll with Dok and Kessler. Sign a free agent or two ( I like Biyombo and maybe Ibaka) trade Conley and NAW for Morris and Kennard and we should be good to go!
