It is very tough to watch, it's actually quite graphic, I should put up a warning

I watched part of it. His leg was in VERY bad shape. If you have problems looking at that type of stuff (surgery, wounds, etc), I would definitely warn about watching it.

Yeah I saw one minute of it a few days ago where he’s sitting on the table and his ankle looks as thick as his lower quad...misshapen...bruised...seen the pics of it when it was black too...looks like some sort of gangrene ****. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll probably cry as I witness how amazing our medical professionals can be and how special it is when a man can overcome so much with both amazing strength and grace.

There's a particular image that shows what the doctors had to do to his leg after the infection that is honestly insane that the man has recovered from this and still wants to play football. It's honestly pretty inspiring.

Also Alex Smith's wife is incredibly hot.
