Any shortwave radio listeners or hams?

I'm looking to buy a shortwave receiver to pick up stuff from Eastern Europe and Asia and was wondering if anyone here had any input. Russian number station UVB 76 has been really active lately and I've been listening to it over the internet non-stop. Pretty cool stuff.
