Can the Jazz move from 7th to 5th by Sunday?

The Jazz have an opportunity to move up in the standings this week. The Grizzlies are 17-8 (5th), the Thunder (6th) are 15-9 and the Jazz (7th) are 15-10.

On Tuesday the 13th, OKC plays @ Portland and Memphis plays @ Cleveland. A loss for each team would put us at: Mem 17-9, Thunder 15-10 and Jazz 15-10.

On Wednesday the 14th, Cleveland plays at Memphis and OKC plays at Utah. A loss for the Grizzand Thunder puts us at: Mem 17-10, Jazz 16-10, Thunder 15-11.

On Friday the 16th, Dallas plays at Utah. A win for the Jazz puts us at: Mem 17-10, Jazz 17-10, Thunder 15-11.

On Saturday the 17th, Phoenix plays at OKC. A win for OKC puts us at: Mem 17-10, Jazz 17-10, Thunder 16-11.

On Sunday the 18th, Utah plays at Memphis. A win for the Jazz puts us at: Jazz 18-10, Mem 17-11, Thunder 16-11.

I don't see any likely losses for Golden State, the Clippers, San Antonio or Houston this week. The Jazz need to win 3 this week.

We need some of these ****ers off the injured list first and nobody else added on to it...then I'd feel comfortable with this prediction.

I'm comfortable with this prediction as we are. We are going to beat Memphis. We should have last time.

Rudy only had 6 PTS and 5 REB last game in just 22 min. He's going to be out for Gasol blood.

If no one comes back from injury I doubt we beat both OKC and Memphis but I can hope for that and hope we get some guys back.

The OKC game worries me. We haven't done very well against quick guards without Hill. The Memphis game will also be tough, but I'm a lot more confident about that one. Dallas we should beat comfortably.

Hill is likely out for all of these. That makes them all question marks for me.

(besides Dallas)

Memphis is a damned solid team. We aren't automatically beating them and not with our injury issues.

After watching the OKC game yesterday, I'm not too worried about them as long as we don't let them dictate our pace. They looked like an absolute mess, but Boston became really sloppy as well.

Oh we're going to beat them. Just you wait.

And Gasol just won Western Conference player of the week, which should make him an especially tasty meal for Gobert.

This Rockets game is worth tuning in to.

Edit: I jinxed it. Also, Nets basketball isn't ever really worth tuning in for.

I think that we win all 3. Hood will be back and maybe Favors. The nice thing about so many guys being out is that RG and GH have figured out how to step up and get the w. Hill spraining his toe may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Our players were leaning on him too much early in the season. I'm excited for these games. We have a legit team, Finally!!!

I'm not convinced that we've turned the corner without Hill. We have won a lot of these games against really bad teams and lost one to a bad team (Miami). In our wins, (other than the Sacto win) we've blown huge leads against Denver, LA and Phoenix. That's not a good sign. Once we start playing some "real" teams that **** can't happen...
Hill is the guy that can calm the team down and stop the other team from turning a 6-7 point run into a 20 point comeback. We need him back.
