Somewhere I've picked up a bug that when I use Google to run a search, if I click on the lnks provided it redirects to be to other sites. Nothing bad, just advertisements for everything from cars to clothing to housewares. Usually if I click the back button I end up on the original link I was aiming for so it's not a real nasty issue, just a PITA.

I've run Avira and Spybot but both find nothing. Is there another program I can try to get rid of this?

I had the same problem. I did a system restore to a point before I was crusing porn sites and everything seems to be fine now.

What if looking up porn was the first thing I ever did on this computer? :p

LOL I knew porn was going to be brought up. Just not so quickly. Thanks for the help.
 
Load Malwarebytes and then run it in safe mode. Pretty soon, you'll be safe porning, or as I like to call it "Every Night".

But it's a true story. System restore did work for me.

YB for the win!

I downloaded the program, rebooted in safe mode and the damn thing found 14 infected files!! Now I can surf porn and feel completely safe... as long as my wife doesn't catch me.
