I saw a blurb that a player named Jack Davidson for Wabash College set an all time consecutive free throw record at 55 or 56 last week. The kid's height and weight is the same as John Stockton. Last night the kid scored 47 points in a league playoff game. He is averaging 25.3 ppg for the year and one other player on the team is in double figures. The team has won over 20 games for the year. Do we have a sleeper here?

There are no D-3 players in the NBA right now. There are no D-2 players in the league. The last one played 29 minutes this season and got cut a month ago. There's a reason for all this.

Qyntel Woods came out of JuCo. Wonder what he’s up to. Maybe homey knows.

The Lakers had a D-3 player they used a 1st round pick on about 15 years ago. Robert Whaley and Charles Oakley played D-2. Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen and Jack Sikma were NAIA players.

According to Mr. Google the only D-2 player in the league is Jaylen Morris for the Bucks. He played for the Hawks last season. The Stars have a couple of D2 guys on the roster.

Morris was waived a month ago. Mr. Google would've told you that had you used him properly.

That was a looooong time ago, Scouting has improved so much since then that great prospects don't get missed and end up at these tiny schools. Robert Whaley is the most recent of all those guys and he scored a total of 49 points in his NBA career. Great players don't come from D2 or D3 any more as its so much easier to scout players.
