That's the only way I can imagine how Burks saw no action tonight.

This. Holy **** I don't know what Corbin was thinking. Tinsley sucks, has no future, and his past is something we just don't talk about.

Why is our young player, who is bursting with potential, nailed to the bench while Tinsley stinks up the building?

Maybe you missed the part about Burks being a key player in our future and Foye only being here this season?

EDIT: Also, if we're going off of the pre-season for who deserved minutes in this game, then there's no question it was Burks over Foye. But not only did Foye get playing time over him, so did CARROLL and TINSLEY. That's what drives me insane.
 
Maybe we overvalue Burks. Maybe we don't see what the coaches see in practice. Maybe Burks just isn't earning the playing time.

But it's still 'us' they're playing for .. and I, for one, would like to see an increase in minutes for Alec.

He derves more than what he got. He is elite at getting to the line. It is not like they are playing Harden, Kobe or some other superstar over him. You can easily shave time from Tinsley and Foye for Burks.

An eleven man rotation is not an option. Gotta cut one of them out. I'm not against Tinsley being cut, but that forces Foye to PG, and that's a bad option.

Neither Burks nor Foye can guard 3s. Burks or Foye on Marion tonight? That'd be a disaster. Foye at PG during the preseason, and during the rest of career, is bad as well. It's not a clean cut case, really.

For now it can be. If you are going to bury the 12th pick then trade him.

I'd rather Burks play then seeing Foye at 20+ minutes and tunsley 15+

Ask yourself this: if the way minutes were distributed tonight happened every night for the rest of the season, would you really be okay with that?
 
Foye is at least a decent player. I can't complain about him getting minutes. He's a good shooter and we've been lacking in that area for years.

But TINSLEY?! Carroll?

Tinsley shouldn't even be in the league. He was done several years ago. And Carroll is, at best, end of the bench material who should only play when someone else gets hurt or fouls out.

Burks is supposedly part of the future core. How the heck is Burks only getting garbage time minutes, while TINSLEY gets about 20 minutes?

Wow, hopefully Tinsley is on the inactive list the rest of the season.
