....after reading that whole thing, I'm further convinced this is not about money but has to do with race, control, hip-hop verses old school!

I googled this David Boise character. He does seem like a great lawyer, so maybe the NBA does have a chance of at least scaring the Owners into a more favorable deal.

Hi guys,

Was searching through some of the analytics of the site, and saw quite the not insignificant amount of traffic being generated from here. So I had to come here to pay thanks for visiting the blog but also, and more importantly, to say thank you for the kind words posted here. The feedback and reception I've received for this little project, all on essentially its first day, is warmer than I ever hoped for, and jazzfanz posters and readers played no small role. My sincerest thanks to you all, and keep coming back. It's going to be hard to do new screenplay-form content every day--and the basketball posts won't be as common as today might indicate--but if you liked this 'documented NBPA meeting', and liked 'New Day Co-op', I think you'll like what else is to come, even if all of it might not be in twelve point courier.

Really enjoyed reading your blog twelvepointcourier I laughed a lot. Very well thought out. You made great points while still keeping it light and funny. Keep up the good work.
 
In the actual meetings, I would really like to know what someone like LeBron James adds to the conversation.
Seriously, what the heck does LeBron or most of these players know about negotiating and economics? I envision LeBron just farting in the middle of the meeting (probably while Stern is talking) in some failed attempt to get a laugh.

Ummm, if I was in the room, it would not be a failed attempt. Nothing better than dropping guts in serious meetings.
