Mods....

Please merge all the draftees threads under this thread, and let's see how many pages it is.

Condensing them doesn't make much sense, there's chronology involved. Coupled with the fact that the Jazz have more than enough draft picks(near 20) to field a whole new team in just the next 5 years, it'd be a bit much..

I just posted early mocks in 2016 and 2017 today, soon ill drop top-10, 15 or 20 lists in '18, '19 and '20.

Then perhaps, I'll post the 'ultimate' classless top-100 rankings which could end up a decent bump down the road...

Infact this thread seems like a decent landing spot for them.

To have that much time on my hands...must be nice.

You have a point. We don't know how many will come out after one year or how many of the non-US players will decide not to enter a particular draft. The 2017 prospects may become 2019 prospects, for example. I personally feel it's kind of Sanduskyish to start seriously discussing 13-14 yr olds. But to each his own. I really don't pay any attention to those threads until the college season is underway and we have a better grasp of where the Jazz might be picking.

Perhaps I should fall in line with lame posters such as yourself, and stick to making critical posts about users here. Surely that'd be time well spent!!!

Just pointing out that I envy the time you have but if you insist on being an *******, then by all means.

Or maybe it's something he enjoys doing so he sets a side time to do it

yup, and this is the time of year to make such lists, if they are to be made. "Evaluation Periods" are over, AAU Events and Summer Camps are finished.

The lists/mocks are certain to be flawed, there's always late bloomers that come out of nowhere. It's just the first version though, I won't need to write up new mocks at any point, (until 2021..) because I can just update these.

FWIW - all the listed players from 2019 and 2020 are 6'4" and taller

Where do you get all the info from? Do you know some scouts?

I look at various local, national and international scouting sites(no "premium" info). I watch highlights and full games, and have a few forums and aggregate basketball news sites I check occasionally. I don't know any scouts, I know someone who coaches with some college and pro summer league tournament teams at Dyckman Park who sometimes has good knowledge on local players, that's about it though.
