Lauri isn’t getting any younger and it’s exciting how good this team can be and how fun they are to watch. I had hoped that in the interest of building a winning culture that we reimburse OKC to take the protections off and use this season as a runway. Clearly that is not happening or is it going to be the case. We’re sputtering at just the right juncture with phantom injuries and head scratching lineups. So much for that winning culture going into next season. Hope it doesn’t hurt us going into next season and we get somebody serviceable in the 7 or 8 spot.

I am rooting for our players to play well but if every game were a 1 point loss it would be great this season. I really want one more chance at an elite player in the draft. Lauri, Keyonte, Kessler, Ace and one of the big 3 or 4 this year would be a very nice core and we still have some nice complimentary players too. The future would be looking bright for the Jazz.

Pretty clear what the fan base think is best for the franchise going forward.

Home crowd basically just needs to stop cheering so damn hard during home games.

"The fan base" :D:D:D
It is very indicative of the Jazz Fanz fan base, and frankly a reasonable approximation of the people who really care about the Jazz and aren't just casual fans. The casual fans, which admittedly could make up 50% and higher of the actual "fan base", will want wins over future plans any day, they just want a fun night out at the Delta Center. But the fans that care about future prospects and fighting for a ring are probably not far off of this poll. Either way it is the data we have, better than the opposing data, which doesn't exist. You gonna poll the overall fan base to see where it *really* stands?

There's the classic tanker delusion again.

Claiming that the people who want their team to win are "casual fans" who don't really care is... certainly a take.
