Hayward - any real updates on return date ?

I've been following twitter and what not and no word any any of the three. Hopefully there will be comments on twitter tomorrow about who practiced.

Well, no one in the local media said anything about Burks missing time over what was reported as "minor" surgery over the summer, so don't expect to hear anything until he's actually announced by the team as playing.

Yeah, the Jazz seem to keep players out way long if they get a owie. Zero chance Malone doesnt play with a broken finger, sore i.t. band or some mysterious leg injury that Burks seems to have.

I couldn't believe it when AK missed several games with a jammed finger. At that point, I realized the NBA was being run by agents protecting their wussy clients. The only games Malone missed were suspensions for throwing elbows.

But this way there were fully healed and had plenty of rest when the postseason came along.

Plus, since Hayward is a UFA after the season he has a vested interested, probably $150M of them to make sure he is healed.
 
I am both curious about what is going on and also very anxious for the return of our guys. That being said, 2 things are true for how I see this taking place:

1) I have zero issue with the Jazz being tight lipped about injuries and when folks will be available. I can think of several reasons why they would do so.
2) I am confident their goal is to win. They are not holding players out longer than the believe is in their own best interest.
 
Hayward was just interviewed at the League of Legends worlds. He had his brace on his finger that he said he could not take off. Ill try and find the link but I think he said he had to keep the cover brace thing on his finger for 2 more weeks. He also said he didnt want to lose his rank and still played LOL even though it was hard with his finger.

Pretty sure he broke his left ring finger, so those Q attacks must be taking a toll on him.
