Hello, could somebody explain "Rep Power" and "Rep Level"?

I am sorry for such a boring post. And I'm sorry for being a noob poster.

But somebody commented on my "rep power", and I don't seem to understand what that means. And it's probably spelled out clearly for me somewhere, but I missed it. Any feedback would be appreciated, even hateful feedback. Thank you.

Rep level is the toal number of rep points you have accumulated since joining the site.

Rep power is the number of points you give a person when you rep them.
