The Jazz officially announced the signing of Johnny Juzang to a two way deal. This seemed like old news. Did the Jazz have to wait for some reason?
I think he has a tiny bit of promise as a shooter. The Jazz officially announced the signing of Johnny Juzang to a two way deal. This seemed like old news. Did the Jazz have to wait for some reason?
I’ve been exceedingly impressed for an undrafted guy - Kofi as well. Whoever scouted these guys should be commended.Decent size and shooting. Solid value for a 2-way player. I think he’ll get some good run in the G-league. I’m assuming that Xavier Sneed will get another 2-way contract.
Hoping to see Bruno get a 3 year deal (partially guaranteed with a team option in year 3) after all the trade fireworks are over.
Also would like to see Kofi Cockburn and Isaiah Miller get Exhibit 10 deals for training camp and then find their way onto the Stars roster this year.
I don’t know if he can handle NBA minutes, but the guy can play. He’d be worth some investment. I’m personally of the mind that the Jazz should use their lower levels of development (summer league, 2-way contracts and Utah Stars) to try and find one or two guys that can really help you at some point. You should try to win as much as possible and it will help to create the right environment for your primary squad as well.I’ve been exceedingly impressed for an undrafted guy - Kofi as well. Great type of player for a 2 way. Would also like to see them add Sekou Doumbouya for the Stars and see if he’d be a decent reclamation project. Here is a name out of right field for the second two way: Abu Kigab a 6'7" 220 lb wing who was the MVP of the Mountain West Conference tournament this past season. This is the league David Roddy a Griz first round pick played in. The kid has a 7 foot windspan and has been on the Raptors summer league roster. Today against the Bucks he had 15 points 10 boards and two blocks. The points and rebounds led both teams. He had hardly gotten in any SL games up until today.
Kijab is an interesting player in that he led Canada to an U19 world championship beating the US team that had a bunch of one and dones on it. He's older but where he shows up his teams seem to win.Great type of player for a 2 way. Would also like to see them add Sekou Doumbouya for the Stars and see if he’d be a decent reclamation project.
