This does seem to be a game we might drop over the last few years, but I like the fact that we are only losing to good teams this year much better. Let's keep it going.

The Jazz disappointed me with their lack of defensive attitude in starting quarters. They should come out and destroy Il Mago-less Raptors (I do not know if he comes back until Wed.) who will be playing 2nd game of a b2b. Contain DeRozan and limit easy baskets for Barbosa, match the energy of their young, inexperienced bigmen on boards = blowout. The new coach of Raptors seems to take a lot of pride in defense and his team has shown improvement on defense compared to previous years.

And, lastly, I do not aprrove of a trade for Jose -the Matador- Calderon. If the Jazz are aiming at playoffs or a PG who can score and create within a structured offense, Jose is not the answer. No D, no playoff experience, no toughness, no major upgrade over Harris.

And, lastly, I do not aprrove of a trade for Jose -the Matador- Calderon. If the Jazz are aiming at playoffs or a PG who can score and create within a structured offense, Jose is not the answer. No D, no playoff experience, no toughness, no major upgrade over Harris.

Jose is so incredibly overrated on this board. Jazz need someone who not only can hit a j (which Jose can do), but also push the ball and defend. Jose plays very slowly, and does absolutely nothing until he's sure the defense is set. He may be the worst defensive point guard in the league. Yuck.

You can only get so much right now at the PG spot. If the perfect player was that easily obtainable, we would get him. Sometimes you have to settle for a flawed player that fits into the skill sets of your other players.
