he averaged about 8 per game as a rookie starter, so certainly within reach.

10 APG would be great in a vacuum. The question becomes are we better with ~6-7 APG from a guy who will contribute more scoring / better shooting. My guess would be yes.

I yearn for the old school days but as others have pointed out the game done changed.
