Is the Rising Stars Challenge Racialist?

Seems a bit discriminatory, no? Could be a PR nightmare for the NBA, if certain personalities were to weigh in on the issue. A nightmare that could last for a long time, who knows maybe even 3,983 days or something.

mods - dis game has multiple jazz players involved, and utah has a history of racialism and/or perception of it--pls do not move.

Keep in mind, the players have to have TALENT AND SKILLS for the rising stars challenge. It's not the best player from each race, this isn't Germany, 1936 or the Olympics.

It's a lot more xenophopic and ethnocentric rather than racialist.

The American team includes players of different races all the time. It's not about race. It's either you are an American or an outsider. Hence, the motto of the Rising Stars challange:

USA Against the World.

Oh my God! How heroic!

I exaggerate on purpose of course, but there always is this subliminal meaning in those concepts, that are hard to ignore. They reflect the ideology of the mainstream culture.

I agree. They should rename it:

Kids pampered from birth who only know how to dunk vs men who actually learned how to play basketball.

Is there a state without a history of "racialism"?

This topic is really stupid, even for HH.
