Briefly played with the Bucks last season.

6'5 SG, Great defender, 46-inch vertical, insane shot-blocker (2.6 BPG per 23.6 minutes played).

Offensive college stats weren't eye-popping. Can hit the 3 and had a very high FG%.

I like it. I remember seeing him in dunk contests. That's the perfect camp roster guy. Looking at that video though makes me wonder how that dude only averaged 13 mins/game in college. If somebody can fly around like that and be a hustle player, that's almost always more minutes. He must really stink at everything else.

Stephens actually may be the best athlete in the 2013 draft, but few know what exactly he has to offer an NBA team. That's because he played a majority of his minutes at the power forward or center position in college, even though at 6'5 and 188-pounds, he looks more the part of an NBA shooting guard than even a prototypical small forward. While he is extremely undersized, he is incredibly explosive both in transition and from a standstill, and displays the requisite quickness for virtually any position in the NBA.

If you can't win an NBA championship, at least try to celebrate one in the D-League. Sign him to a partially guaranteed contract and send him to the Stampede.

Good lord!! He just glides through the air, but my hell! From that vid does he have any other skills other then being really athletic?

He was all-C defensive player of the year in 2013. So he's super-athletic, hit the three pretty well in college and can play defense. I really want to see him play during the preseason. I couldn't find any Milwaukee Bucks videos of him but he has some Euro games and of course college games on Youtube.

Holy crap! That kid's jumping ability is otherworldly. It's not just the height but the timing. That video showed him blocking numerous shots he had no business touching, but sometimes he actually caught them.

my theory

1. not a smart guy
2. doesn't practice hard
3. doesn't listen
4. too many extracurricular activities

2-4 are correctable as they mature. if a player is a great athlete who can't shoot, can't rebound, can't pass, then he becomes a defensive specialist. 'raw' player who can still contribute because of that great athleticism. but if you don't become a defensive specialist even with that God given talent, then you have a work ethic or bbiq issue.

work ethic can be corrected as a player matures. but BBIQ is not correctable IMO. some dudes are born basketball idiot.

gerald green was that guy who matured into a decent baller.

He is a 6'5 PF. Not a lot of people clamoring at the door to have one of those, no matter how athletic and strong you are. His skills just don't match his body.

so he has a back to the basket game? i see that as an asset. i'm curious to see how he plays now. i think i saw him play once. was not memorable. i have no idea what kind of game he has

His game is hustling and making athletic plays around the rim.
