According to Courtney Sims (reported here by Mark Deeks, since Courtney's tweet misspells his teammate's name), the San Antonio Spurs will make the Iowa Energy's Othyus Jeffers the 11th Gatorade Call Up of the season.

He had 2 points 2 boards and an assist in 8 minutes. Interesting that he and another DLeaguer called up got minutes last night vs. the Heat.

Spurs brass understand the value of defense a bit more than Sloan did. Jeffers, as we know, is a tough defender, but has been in the past offensively challenged. Maybe he'll stick in San Antone... We'll see if Tyrone gets that next year...
