Her defense consists entirely of "the ends justify the means". She doesn't even try to say she didn't break the law, only that her breaking of the law was part of the effort to get Trump and therefor justified. Nobody is above the law, except for Hunter Biden along with whomever else the corrupt democrats decide to make above the law over the course of the next month.

Anyone else remember Trump ranting for weeks bashing the Biden administration for “neglecting” hurricane victims in North Carolina? Hope the rubes who bought that **** weren’t counting on any help from Donald’s regime.

Pretty much a microcosm of our entire society tbh. Democrats provide necessary services, which is boring to voters. Republicans bash Democrats, promising to deliver more and better. Once in power, republicans **** over voters. But because voters are stupid and the right wing propaganda apparatus is so powerful, not enough voters notice until republicans drive the country into a ditch. Democrats then must waste their time in power trying to repair the damage republicans have wrought. Voters get bored the process repeats.

Social media is completely overtaken by right wing Russian assets, and MAGA disinformation. Nothing wrong with us on the very left. We only tell the truth, are not corrupt and we have all absolute knowledge about every topic. It’s the other side that has the problem. Let’s regulate the social media sites to weed all of the right/center people out. They make a meme that makes fun of me = hate speech, ban them and send them to jail. They have a different view on medicine than us, ban them and shame them. They talk about another ethnicity other than white, racism, ban them, book them under hate speech. A comedian has a joke about a trans person, transphobia, ban them, cancel them and shame them. Make fun of a Christian white person, spread it, influence others to be apart. A candidate running for president who says something about democracy , ban them for wrecking democracy, put them at a disadvantage just because.

Clearly, free speech is important to this guy. Which is why he’s furious over prosecutors being fired, comedians being fired, and school campuses and curriculums being regulated.

Then you should understand that arguing for regulation of social media includes arguing for regulation of social media by whoever is in charge at the government level, regardless of how hard left or hard right they lean.

You can't just say "I want regulation of social media, but only for speech that I think is harmful." It's all or nothing, because those who strongly disagree with you aren't just going to sit on their hands when they are the ones in power.

I guess we could all just stand around and wait Arguing as a handful of billionaires and their useful tool in the White House rape our democracy, like Putin has done in Russia. That’s working out so well. Not an insignificant portion of our country believes that the measles vaccine is bad and that’s due to the freedom we’ve given social media to spew disinformation. Authoritarians around the world are gaming the system. They’re teaming up with social media billionaires to take power and wreck freedom anyway. Without unregulated social media, there is no Trump. But because he’s bought off social media billionaires and knows how to game the algorithm with hatred and conspiracy (flood the zone with ****) he wrecks the system.

This just isn’t sustainable
