SALT LAKE CITY – Rudy Gobert has made countless big plays for the Utah Jazz in nine seasons on both ends of the basketball court.

With nine years of memories, big plays and moments, it’s hard to find just five of the best plays that Rudy Gobert made in a Jazz uniform.

KSL SportsBeat was able to compile the top five plays.

Here are the five best plays from Rudy Gobert’s career during his nine seasons with the Utah Jazz.

5. Rudy Gobert Goes Statue Of Liberty In New York City

The Jazz weren’t even 10 games into the 2016-17 season when Gobert was making highlight plays. On November 6, 2016, the Jazz were in the Big Apple to face the New York Knicks. George Hill was driving along the baseline when he found Gobert diving towards the basket. Hill dished Gobert the ball, who took it and threw down a left-handed slam dunk over Kristaps Porzingis.

The Jazz beat the Knicks 114-109 with Gobert recording 13 points and eight rebounds.

4. Gobert Puts MVP On A Poster

This is considered to be one of the best dunks of Rudy Gobert’s career. On February 12, 2021 at Vivint Arena, Gobert received the ball on a pick-and-roll from Joe Ingles. Gobert threw down a right-handed jam over Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Utah beat the Bucks 129-115 with Gobert finishing with 27 points and 12 rebounds.

3. Gobert Recovers For Game-Sealing Block Against Mavericks

On January 25, 2020, the Jazz hosted the Dallas Mavericks. The Jazz held a 109-107 lead with 30 seconds left when former Runnin’ Utes star Delon Wright beat Gobert on the perimeter and started to attack the basket. When he got to the rim for a layup, Gobert recovered and blocked Wright’s shot off the backboard.

Gobert and the Jazz defeated the Mavericks 112-107. The Stifle Tower had 22 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks in the win.

2. Gobert Stuffs Ja Morant At The Rim In NBA Playoffs

In Game 2 of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, Rudy Gobert didn’t want to be on a poster of Ja Morant dunking on him. During the second quarter, Morant attacked the basket when he met Gobert. The Frenchman impressively blocked the dunk and prevented the highlight play for the Grizzlies’ young star.

The Jazz beat the Grizzlies 141-129 in Game 2 to tie the series 1-1. Gobert had 21 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in the win. Utah beat the Grizzlies in five games in the first round.
