Just because Kobe wants to come back doesn't mean he will. Besides the Lakers record with Kobe wasn't that good. If this deal goes down then Cleveland should be ridiculed for their stupidity. There is a reason why the Lakers stay good, because teams do trades with the Lakers to make them better. Jazz gave them Magic, Charlotte gave them Kobe and I am pretty sure the pick they used to get Worthy was from dumb *** GM giving them a pick.

If the Lakers get Bynum and then release him they are in FULL tank mode. Keeping Kobe out would just make it too obvious. Where is Steve Nash? He has been out long considering his injury.

doubt the cavs would give up their pick. They are doing the lakers a favor if they do this trade. The lakers will just waive Bynum, as his salary is not guaranteed. They would save tons of luxury tax this year, and next, and probably get a top ten pick because they are going to suck until Kobe comes back.
