So what if I'm doing recess duty and a kid falls from the monkey bars and breaks their leg and splits their head open. I try to can the parents but they aren't answering. The kid is just ****ed?

Or is it specific types of healthcare?

Edit: pulled up the tweet. Is says healthcare for child who has been sexually assaulted so my scenario it would be fine to get them the healthcare they need.

Next question. How often do kids get raped by their parents? Are there statistics for that? Are they even accurate?

Not sure. But Children are typically raped by someone they know well. Typically a family member, pastor, coach, etc.

Don't forget scout leader, plenty of them just love to molest.

Not to go too far down the rabbit hole, but one ward we moved into years ago was dealing with allegations of the scout leader for the ward being accused of molesting like 3 or 4 boys in the ward, from like 8 years old to 12 years old, on camping trips. I met the guy and his family at a ward event right before it all blew up. His wife was gorgeous. He had a successful career, something in the medical field, can't remember what, but he was rocking a couple of mercedes and had the big house on the hill kind of thing. Had 4 kids, including 2 sons in their early or just pre-teens. And he was molesting young boys on camping trips. Turned out the allegations were true and he went to jail over it all. I say all that just to say, I don't ****ing get it. He was maybe 38 years old. Wife was maybe 30, and incredibly attractive. Had it all. But felt an overwhelming need to touch a boys wang for some reason? I just will never understand that ****. Glad he went to jail. I never heard if he was molesting his own kids, but I think the thought in the ward was he was not. Just other people's kids. This **** happens way too much. What is the weird drive in so many men to groom and molest so many kids? I'll never understand all that.

Anyway, rant over. Back to your regularly scheduled political ****-throwing.

Don't forget scout leader...
There are unfortunate incidents of scout leaders, and pastors, and coaches, but far more numerous incidents are teachers. The teacher's unions are extremely adept at keeping that statistic out of the press, but the number of incidents of sexual misconduct of K-12 school teachers victimizing their students is astonishing.

"10% of K–12 students will experience sexual misconduct by a school employee by the time they graduate from high school."

In 2017-2018, there were 13,799 rapes or attempted rapes in K-12 schools with 1/8th of those being adult on child.

I found this interesting: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...&cvid=66ad4b3570374c9383bbd096dbf5099f&ei=101

"Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body? A woman's fundamental right of individual liberty, to her own life, grants her the authority to terminate her pregnancy if she wishes," Melania Trump writes in her upcoming book, according to a report Wednesday from the Guardian.

In a position at odds with much of the Republican party, Melania Trump reportedly argues that the decision to terminate a pregnancy should be a decision left between a woman and her doctor, calling it "the common-sense approach."

"It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government," she reportedly writes in the memoir set for release next week.

"Restricting a woman's right to choose whether to terminate an unwanted pregnancy is the same as denying her control over her own body. I have carried this belief with me throughout my entire adult life," she reportedly says in the pages of "Melania."

Melania Trump also addresses late-term abortions, according to the excerpts.
"It is important to note that historically, most abortions conducted during the later stages of pregnancy were the result of severe fetal abnormalities that probably would have led to the death or stillbirth of the child. Perhaps even the death of the mother. These cases were extremely rare and typically occurred after several consultations between the woman and her doctor. As a community, we should embrace these common-sense standards. Again, timing matters," she reportedly writes.

Those comments offer a stark contrast to narratives Donald Trump has pushed around the issue, falsely claiming that Democrats support abortion "after birth." Infanticide is illegal in all 50 states.

According to the report, Melania Trump then goes on to further ask for compassion for women who decide to terminate a pregnancy, detailing the hardships that surround making the decision and stressing the importance of "knowledge, security, and solace" for the next generation.

During campaign rallies, Trump has touted his abortion policy, calling himself "the most pro-life President in American history." He has also celebrated his appointment of three U.S. Supreme Court justices who helped overturn Roe vs. Wade.

According to the Guardian, Melania Trump, an immigrant herself, also addresses immigration in her book. But she writes that she likes to keep "occasional political disagreements" private.

Donald Trump recently promoted his wife's book at his rally in Uniondale, New York, though he suggested he hadn't actually read it.

"First Lady, people love our first lady out there. Go out and get her book," Trump said to cheers. "She just wrote a book. I hope she said good things about ... She just wrote a book called 'Melania.' Go out and buy it. It's great. And if she says bad things about me, I'll call you all up, and I'll say, don't buy it."

Infanticide is illegal in all 50 states.
The devil is in the details over how "infanticide" is defined.

"Data from the Minnesota Department of Health indicate that since Governor Walz was inaugurated in 2019, eight babies survived abortion attempts in Minnesota. On five occasions, no measures were taken to preserve life. On three occasions, only comfort care was provided. Tragically, all of these babies died."

Minnesota used to have a law that dictated that medical personnel must seek to "preserve the life" of an infant born alive. Tim Walz had that line in the law struck and replaced with must seek to "care" for an infant born alive.

Minnesota changed the laws to make killing an infant after birth to be not "infanticide". This isn't a narrative. After-birth abortion is a thing that is happening.

This is such a powerful ad. Wish it wasn’t based on real life experiences. Watch until the very end, which is stunningly powerful.

These women would be alive today if Republicans hadn’t overturned Roe.

How is this pro life? Shouldn’t being pro life mean more than just being anti-choice?

Women turning out to vote and voting for their own interests, for their very lives, really, is going to be the main determining factor in this election.

Congrats to "conservatives" for overturning Roe vs Wade. You done ****ed yourselves.

Yep!

I have a feeling this week that some here will be shocked how pollsters underrated women and how angry they are right now.

They literally want to kill their own children. Why would you think anyone would underestimate someone willing to go forward with killing their own children?

That's not what it's about. No one is excited about an abortion. You're being completely disingenuous. Everyone can tell.
I never said they were excited. I never said they were giddy. Those are constructions made in an effort to disguise the truth of there being a sizable number of women willing to go purposely forward with killing their own children. No one should underestimate a human who would kill their own children. That is the elevator or morality's lowest level.

Ya I see dumbasses use terms like "pro abortion" (no one is pro abortion) and I saw someone on Facebook talking about all the women getting "casual abortions". There is no such thing as a casual abortion.

I think they do the casual abortions in the same place they do in-school same-day sex change operations.

They were there as you say they were, but Kamala's immigration detention facilities were not the only places they did casual abortions and sex change operations on school-aged children.
