It looks like the Utah Jazz might draft Bronny James

The Utah Jazz are interested in potentially drafting USC Freshman, Bronny James, the son of 20-time all-star, LeBron James. According to Krysten Peek, sources told YahooSports that the Jazz are interested in bringing in Bronny James for an individual workout. Krysten wrote this about the Jazz’s interest “The franchise has been patiently rebuilding behind the leadership of Danny Ainge, and bringing in Bronny with the hopes of luring a superstar like LeBron could be the jump owner Ryan Smith is looking for to add a spark to the Jazz.” Danny Ainge has mentioned the Jazz are big game hunting. Trying to recruit LeBron James to Jazz is as big as it gets.

The Jazz have expressed interest in bringing Bronny James in for an individual workout and could be interested in him with the 32nd pick, sources told @YahooSports.

How Has Bronny Looked at the NBA Draft Combine?

From a physical standpoint, Bronny is shorter than most players at the combine, measuring in at 6’1.5 feet without shoes. What stood out in a good way is his 6’7 wingspan and his outstanding 40.5 vertical. His first combine scrimmage did not go well for him, but in his second, he led his team in scoring while making smart passes and showing off his defensive instincts. Bronny has a long way to go before he is an NBA-level rotation player, but his 2nd scrimmage showed glimpses of his potential as an NBA guard.

Would LeBron James Play for the Utah Jazz?

To be clear, Bronny James has publicly mentioned he doesn’t want to be drafted just so a team can try to get his dad to play for them. But it can’t be ignored that LeBron James has expressed interest in finishing his career playing on the same team as his son. Could the Utah Jazz convince LeBron to play for them? Regardless of whether LeBron comes to Utah or not, could Bronny be a helpful piece for the Jazz moving forward?
