The Jazz need to add a dynamic wing...

It's the age-old challenge: an elite guard cannot carry a team's offense on his own, even if he's Dame, Kyrie, Derrick Rose, James Harden, or Allen Iverson. There has to be a triple-threat player on the wing to complement Donovan. I love me some Royce and Joe, but those guys are 3D and glue guys. The Jazz need a wing who can score at three levels. Bogdanovic would have made a difference in this series, but he's still more of a spot-up shooter and floor spacer.

Thanks.

At first I read dynamic wig, and I thought, yeah, I can get on board with that.

just grab the guy with the highest physical upside from the draft/market and teach him basketball. if the kid failed to turn into something then we know FOR SURE that it is the coach's fault. It's really hard to blame Quin when he's stuck with guys like Niang and Bradley who are physically uncoachable.

you simply can't teach height, physicality and athleticism to players who aren't born with these traits.

lol Bogdanovic can score at every level clown. He's not even remotely a one dimensional shooter

He's limited off the dribble and from mid-range. Not my first choice. Ideally, he's a guy who shoots 3s and attacks close-outs. The Jazz need a guy who can create a bit off the dribble and shoot more off the dribble.

Douchebag.

Ironically, energy/muscle guys who are raw in skills are actually the easiest assets to find in this league. Just look at teams like Boston and Thunder, who had grown trees of long athletic wings.

That's exactly why Royce's 8mil contract felt like an overpay.

Guys like Jerami Grant or even Crowder come out every year. But DL just have the habit of passing up physicality for skills/smoothness.

Next to Don, we need a guy like (for the old guys, think of their prime)...

Marcus Smart
Jrue Holiday
Jaylen Brown
Klay Thompson
Joe Dumars
Avery Bradley
Latrell Sprewell
Richard Jefferson
Tayshaun Prince

We need that guy who is offensively capable, but is defense and hustle oriented. Scottie Pippen would be perfect, but we aren't finding a top 20 player all time to put with Don. I hope I'm wrong.

In today's NBA, I think we go after Frank Ntilikina and hope he is that guy. He's 22, expiring, flopped in the NY circus and just might need the right star to support in his buddy Don.

Klay Thompson next to DM would be awesome...unfortunately this is pure science fiction:mission impossible !
Jaylen Brown would also be a great fit. He has always be one of my favorite players in the league. But also this seems me pretty tough.
TBH I really don't thing Ntilikina could become a far better player than he is. Not a starter in a contender at all. But maybe I'm in wrong...let's see.

Yeah, most those names are unattainable. I'm thinking more types of players more than the actual guys themselves.

I think Ntilikina is a defensive specialist off the bench at the very least. I put his name out there because I think he is attainable and he still has upside nobody really knows how to calculate at this point.

We could probably get Spreewell and Prince... Jefferson seems pretty content in his media role and Dumars just got the sacramento job.

I would definitely use a 2nd rounder on this guy and pray that playing center was a distraction for him developing a better shot. He can at least take up Ed Davis's spot. :)
