Trade for Otto Porter?

Cy is turning something like a "victory lap" into an exercise in making himself dizzy and stupid. That proposed trade is full tard, brough.

Averaging 10 Pts and 8 Reb on really good percentages over a really small sample size... Not sure a victory lap is necessary just yet. Let's wait and see if he is anything above average next year... I believe Cy predicted him to be some sort of demi-god iirc.

A victory lap is definitely premature. However, a "victory lap"... well... you're sort of seeing one.

I feel like it is when you are playing rec league ball and you are beating the other team by 30 and a guy from the other team hits two 3s in a row and starts talking smack. Lets just slow the roll a bit.

change a few words in there and you're talking about Lance Stephenson. hah

Yeah, let's trade Burks, #12, and GSW 1st for this guy.

I took a really large dump this morning. Would it be enough?

Couldn't we just draft Kevin looney and be happy that he is a better version of Otto porter?

Look at their per 40 stats as freshmen (Looney 4 months older at the time). Remarkably similar. Porter better at 2 pt% (though came back down as a sophomore), while Looney better at 3s. Overall, if that's all you had to go off of, you'd probably project Looney a little higher, esp. being a bit longer and heavier. (Probably all hinges on whether Looney can play SF, however, so maybe odds are against that.)

Have you not seen his defense and the impact he is making? Look at past stats.
