There were many people who said the trade was too risky. As it turns out, we probably used a lottery pick to rent Hill for 50 games.

I hope that's not the case.

Last year's draft was weak and we needed a PG. The Jazz wanted Hill for a while and we got him and learned what would happen with him as our PG. Honestly, I would rather we did that trade last season than this season because 24 in this year's draft is better than 12 in last year's draft. Tell me whom you would have drafted at 12 on May 17, 2016 without the knowledge we all have of watching their rookie seasons.

If all you do are sure bets you don't do much if anything at all. I am glad they went for it with Hill and glad we have a FO that is willing to do so. That is not to be confused with much of the one sided and outlandish ideas posted on fan boards.

Still too early to tell. If we re-sign Hill for a reasonable amount, then it was definitely a great trade. If we re-sign Hill for an unreasonable amount, then meh. If we don't re-sign Hill but re-sign Hayward, then it was still probably a good trade since Hayward likely wouldn't re-sign without the Jazz having a very good season last year. If we don't re-sign either one of them, then (with the benefit of hindsight) it was a bad trade.

What is the players you fart for in 2016 draft nba? Taurean Prance? Lick my kumkwats. No piece of the dump player bring what Hill bring... Jazz eat your balls.

And then we should have traded Hayward 2 years ago if we weren't going to make an effort to keep him.

Funny how we have threads complaining DL isn't doing enough to appease Hayward and a thread complaining about what he did do.

Fans just like to complain.
