You could also argue that this hurts us next season as well. If Rising was the guy at QB, this is going to take almost an entire season of experience under helm (and quite frankly let us know if he should be the guy). As for Bentley, is eligibility is maxed though he would likely be granted a waiver, but he might just be ready to move on with life.
NCAA has already determined this year doesn’t count against eligibility.
