Gregg Popovich heaped praise on Utah and its first-year coach, Quin Snyder, after the Jazz rolled to a 90-81 victory over the Spurs on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Utah limited San Antonio to 40 percent shooting. The Jazz handed the Spurs their third straight loss.
"They were great," Popovich said. "Quin and his staff have done a great job of getting their system across and instilling the aggressiveness and physicality that's needed to win in the NBA. They played unselfishly. They believe in each other. I thought they were tremendous."
I love Gregg Popovich, he's such a great coach and to have him take notice of what our young team is becoming should make Jazz fans excited about the future... I mean, if you weren't already. The future is very, very bright and in Quin I trust.
