A little late on this, but I read the article today and thought it was hilarious.

Basically Orton got banned from the Philippine pro league for insulting Manny. The pro league in the Philippines is basically a non-profit way for businesses to advertise. Businesses own teams and they take losses to run the team so they get a boat load of free advertising since basketball is huge in the Philippines. For a team to have ties with Orton would be suicide since no one would want to buy a product that is associated with someone who disses Manny.
