What's new

Jazz @ Grizzlies 8pm ET / 6pm MT

After seeing Hood this game I'm kind of on the fence about throwing a huge offer to some free agent wing. Hood might take a giant leap next year if his foot holds up.

Quin has this team on the same page and believing in themselves. They're completely different from the beginning of the year.

As I said earlier in another thread. We are going to be a scary ****ing team in the next few years. This defense is down right terrifying.

Most fun I've had all season watching this team. Gobert is scary and with favors the front court is dominant. Watching Gasol get frustrated was great. Exum showed me something tonight that gave me hope for him. So fun..... GO JAZZ

Coming back to Utah with a 6 game winning streak!
.
Nice game from most of the team tonight.
Exum played great on defense and looked good on offense.
Gobert and Favors dominated this game.
Hayward started bad but took over in the 3rd.
Hood continues to improve, and I was impressed with him at times in this game.
Ingles played about where he normally plays which is good enough.
Even Evans came in and played well.
.
Only guys that did not really play well were Millsap and Trey.

Very impressed with the Jazz offense in the 2nd half. We all knew they could play defense, but Hayward and Favors really came to play offensively. Also, Exum credited with 7 assists.

Hood is going to be a good piece. Great pick at #23. Our picks in the twenties have been great, which gives me hope we'll still be pulling good players when our picks regularly fall in those slots.

Tough matchup for Trey tonight. Memphis really locked in on him. Doesn't stop him from competing doe.

Hood and Adams were both good. Adams is pesky defensively and is very savvy for a rookie.

Stop nit picking the smallest most insignificant things. Like This when they are up 13 and Hayward not forcing a 3/4 court shot to end the period.

I wondered when I typed that if somebody wouldn't get that I was joking. Guess that answers that.

I've been noticing something about him. You know how he doesn't provide spacing because he doesn't shoot outside of 5 feet from the basket? He's been abusing people for leaving him wide open on the FT line... he's realized that with his length and one bounce he's at the rim and nobody can stop him(without fouling him, like Gasol did in the first half). This might force defenders to actually guard him up to the FT line, thus improving a bit our spacing inside the paint. He's had such drives and dunks/or getting fouled/ against several teams already - today twice, against the Nuggets, against the Lakers... Don't remember if he had one against the Bucks. That's awesome.
