It's great that Hayward has that range and is a decent threat from the 3, but that is not and should not be the focus of his game. Burks is also very inconsistent for that range. It's not what he likes to do.
Not sure why we're arguing about it though. If you don't think having a great 3-point shooter in our starting lineup is important, just say that. Don't try to make out our players into something that everyone knows they aren't. I do hope that Hood can develop into that type of player though. He shot 42% at Duke, but it will take some time before we know if he can be that type of player in the NBA.
