Greg Miller to step down as CEO of Larry H. Miller Group of Companies (Including Utah Jazz)

I know every billionaire in Utah, personally.. and NONE would remotely consider buying/owning a sports franchise.

Not saying the team is leaving or anything, just saying what I said.

As of 2014, Utah was one of nine states that doesn't have any billionaires. Jon Huntsman comes closest with a net worth of $950 million.

Not accurate. I won't disclose personal information.. but I work with each one of them on investments and there are 5 I am aware of.

I hope you're not still working with James Sorenson (one of the four billionaires you named) because he died in 2008 and donated the vast majority of his $4.5 billion fortune to the philanthropic Sorenson Legacy Foundation before he passed. None of his heirs is now a billionaire.

James jr.
And, yes, the family still has more than a billion.

Who cares if some random guy claims to work with billionaires to make himself look good?! Let's just talk about the Millers! They aren't gonna sell the Jazz, it would ruin their brand. Maybe a future generation will, but I'll be dead by then so I don't care.

Better yet, let's not talk about either topic.
Close this thread down.

Louisville is viable. I actually think Las Vegas has tons of marketing potential. And I am in no way suggesting I think the team in moving.

All of them in Utah.
A handful outside of Utah.
Glad you're impressed.

Agreed on Vegas opportunity, it would even crush LA in popularity, but it would be a major paradigm shift for the franchise.

Hilarious

To suggest that billionaires are not interested in investing in the Utah Jazz is just beyond dumb.

Owning a sports franchise from one of the big three sports is one one of the best investments you can make long term. The amount these franchises have grown in value (including the Jazz) proves that.

I guarantee there is a line of investors trying to buy into sport franchises.

The Jazz aren't going anywhere unless the Millers just want cash out, but I guarantee they have been advised it's not a great decision, and Im sure they already know that.

Greg stepping down is interesting. I'd love to know why. I just don't think it has anything to do with value or money.

Your little man syndrome is growing. Maybe you are right, but I actually work with them and know what type of investments they prefer. But whatevs.

I never said I was denying you know lots of billionaires. Just thought the exchange was funny because your billionaire friends are dead and ****.

I'm saying they must be lying to you so you don't steal their investment idea or something.

Okay, I misunderstood. My bad. And I couldn't pay Haywards salary much less buy a team. (Obvi)

ROFLMAO!
