Following potential 2015 draftees

When I mentioned his turnovers somebody said it was because he is young and young guards always struggle with them and will get better. Dunn is 21.. Lol

He's young basketball-wise. His first season in college was plagued by shoulder injuries, he missed the second because of shoulder surgery. This is pretty much his first season in college where he's playing uninterrupted because health issues. Elfrid Payton averaged similar number of TOs and had played 3 full seasons in college and is doing pretty well in the NBA. TOs are a horrible predictor of success for young PGs.

Tonight he seems like he's trying to do too much. It's the worst game I've seen of him this season.

I like Dunn don't get me wrong, just not in the lottery. Wouldn't be a bad pick in the 25-30 range.

Some Kaminsky...

I think I'd rather have Frank than Tomic. Every time I watch him I like him more.

Kaminsky's quickness (or somewhat lack of quickness) and physical tools on defense might be comparable to Kosta Koufos when Koufos was a younger player. Kofous worked a lot on his body and put a lot of effort into defense to become considered an adequate defensive player. I think Kaminsky is a back-up, whether he can play big minutes is tbd. His ceiling looks kind of limited.

But he looks like he'll shoot 3s and probably defend well enough to stay on the floor as a back-up.

He's good enough as a drop-off scorer to punish teams if we have someone else drawing defenders and getting him open.

Burks.

I think those two would have a lot of offensive chemistry coming off the bench.

I think this theory is over exaggerated. Drummond and Vonleh both fell well past where they were projected. Hell, look how far Gobert fell.

Yeah I threw that bit in there to pique people's interest/attention, I really just wanted to know how high he could go....

Interested and I like him, but still wary.

I feel ya.

I like Kaminsky a lot, but I'm not usually a fan of drafting seniors in the lottery, or a fan of below average athletes.

If he's available at #12 (where I think we'll be picking), then I'd probably just go for it. He's worth the risk at the end of the lottery IMO.

I've always loved the idea of Johnson on this team.

Exum
Hayward
Johnson
Favors
Gobert

That's the biggest starting five in the NBA right there. Defensive juggernauts.

Yup, getting Johnson makes us an instant contender. Wow. Best defensive team EVER.

berkkobe is here

As a Knick Fan, I like to get Towns with first pick.

Talking about Jazz, we must find a steal, or we have to REACH. I really like Rondae Hollis jeff and we can trade down to get him + multiple picks.

Exum / Burke / Neto
Hayward / Burks / Millsap
Johnson / Hood / Jingles
Favors / Booker / Cooley or Motum
Gobert / Tomic and/or Pleiss

That is a significantly improved bench and a nice mix of size, athletic ability and basketball skills.
