What's new

Timberwolves. Tonight. 8 pm Texas Standard Time.

With injuries to Hood and Burks he has limited options. Then add Hayward to that list for last night...

Yep, our options at the guards other than Trey were Jingles, who wore himself out in the first half, and Millsap, who wore himself out on defense. Exum isn't going to be much help this year.

Hood ain't injured. He had teh poopy pants again.

Has Hood ever not gone to the locker room in a game he's played in.

I loved Steve browns report during the game... Feel like he almost said he has the runs.

That doesn't mean trey has to shoot every damned time he gets the ball. I don't understand why we didn't force feed the ball to favors with budinger on him.

Here's another fun one. Since 1985-86, only 3 Jazz players have attempted 20 or more FGs in a game and shot 20% or worse. Those players are Trey Burke (4-22, .182), Jeff Malone (4-21, .190), and Big T Thurl Bailey (2-20, .100). Sadly for Trey, the Jazz overcame the performances by Malone and Bailey to actually win those games.

No ****. Why would Quin draw a play that guarantees a loss?

It did give them a chance to only have to go for 2 though. He should have tried to catch the ball near midcourt and get into the paint. He had time if he did it right but he didn't do it right at all.

I have never blasted Trey. I have been quietly patient in hopes he might figure it out, while at the same time keeping one foot squarely planted in reality. As for seeing the big picture, Trey is the weakest link right now, and if you honestly see him as part of the big picture, you should consider being fitted for glasses.

The weakest link? Over Exum? Thats a bit of a stretch. Trey has done things well, and had good games. He has a lot to work on, but so does Exum, Hood, Gobert etc.

Um, no. Exum can plausibly develop into an elite defender, at which point he'll only need a passable offensive game to be a valuable player on a good team. In the big picture Trey is the weakest link. And by far. Having the occasional decent game where his shots happen to fall means nothing. He is a ****ty player with very little potential to be anything more than "decent backup". So yeah, he's the weakest link.

What about that 3rd string pg.

Couldn't do worse than 4-22
