What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

Kentucky vs Wisconsin is the title game. The other side of the bracket is awful.

Yes.

I rank the 8 like this;

UK (left side)
Whiskey (left side)
Arizona (left side)
Duke (right side)
Zags (right side)
Notre Dame (left side)
MSU (right side)
Louisville (right side)

Utah will make the tourney.
BYU will be on the bubble.
Zags will be very good, but overrated by the media all year long, as usual. The media will never ever never ever learn. Ever.

I will admit I thought the Zags would get stopped in the S16.

You're wrong. Or too smart?
I was serious. BYU fans are always way more 'happy' after a loss than a Ute fan. There's nothing wrong with being disappointed and yet see progress, as you said. Zoobs are particularly friendly with the enemy and get worked up less than the average fan.. more of an "oh well, it was a good game" type of 'tude.

It's fine though.. keep believing your conspiracy theories.

Ok well Cy is still a tard.

Hasnt Kentucky had a few games with around 5-7 assists total with arguably a lot more talent?! Was it pathetic then???

Fwiw, I agree with you! Teams don't pass well anymore!

I went back to check (just for the tourney thus far. Starting from the most recent games going back in time. (# of assists to # of field goals made)

13/24
10/20
15/28

I do know we average 1 assist for every 1.8 made FG's on the season. For any single digit assist game we had, yes, it was a bad/pathetic game.

Notre Dame +11 Kentucky is tempting. Obviously some West Virginia game residue trickling into that line.

All of the lines have been strong/stronger than that in UK's favor. I'm assuming you are saying it's tempting to bet Notre Dame (which is completely understandable).

I don't like the line, but if I had to bet, it would be UK to cover.

Notre Dame is small, doesn't have any depth, and will get tired trying to battle our bigs for rebounds. They keep it close or are ahead after 1Q, UK pulls ahead by 7 at half. Notre Dame keeps things fairly even in Q3 and UK pulls further ahead in 4Q.

UK - 78
ND - 65

*No one cares*

A truly amazing stat/factoid.

This year's UK team has played against 30 different coached teams and handed ELEVEN (11) of those 30 coaches their worst losses of their careers.

*another no one cares* (and thanks for the 'like', above, duck)

If UK wins tonight we will have made the F4 in 4 of the last 5 years.

...the experts say if any team left has a chance of knocking off Kentucky, it is Notre Dame! They have the best outside shooters and they pass the ball very well. You have to beat Notre Dame from the outside, because all those big guys they have, loaded with jail-house tats, will block everything you take inside just about! So, you have to shoot well from the outside, and then hope they shoot poorly and throw the ball away more often than not!
