These quotes from today do kinda summarize what I liked and was frustrated by with Kanter. He seems to always try and give an answer, not just canned answers but generally tries to be honest some of it may be language differences but then he just has his frustrating moments.
Like I said earlier in the thread it was just one of those examples where a player and a team need to move along, nothing was wrong with the player or team just can't work out for multiple reasons.
tleikheen is using the same extreme as some JF posters who only posted negatively about Kanter. I don't think (despite what some people posted) that he was hated or that people didn't think he was a good player, although how good he could become is definitely up to debate.
These quotes show the frustration that Jazz fans had with him, games you could see glimpses but in his own words he didn't bring it every night. Now as fans we can berate him for that but as people we can agree if you're not happy where you work at then it can be hard to be at your best. Now why he isn't happy is another thing all together and another reason fans can berate him, most of those things are in the past and I would think he could move on and get passed those things but it is clear he couldn't. Combine that with his pending FA, his reducing role thanks to Gobert and with what I just mentioned, that altogether is what made it unworkable between the Jazz and Kanter.
