The man-on-man action was indeed quite extended, and no boobs except for the hooker with the unsullied guy at the beginning.

Still, I felt it was a pretty good episode. Not the best they've ever done, but certainly not bad. The show's burden has always been that there are way more storylines going on at once than in anything else on television. I thought they juggled it all pretty nicely.

Was Varys that upfront about his allegiance to Daenerys in the books? It's been quite a while since I've read them, but I recall him being much more guarded about it.

I liked the episode a lot, actually. Had a lot of storylines and was mostly just table-setting for the upcoming season, but I thought it flowed really nicely and I enjoyed most of the scenes. I'm really excited for Sansa's plot this season...completely uncharted territory with her.
 
So first 4 episodes leaked, course I watched them all already. So another month before a new episode for me!
 
Wow.. what a nice first episode for this much anticipated season.


1. Love the beginning. Very memorable scene of Cersei and the witch. Sets up the whole episode really well.

2. Tyrion joining forces with Daenerys?!?! Wow 2 of my most favourite characters joining up, this like the Return of the Jedi.

3. Boy was that scene with Daenerys and the dragons scary!!! Arguably one of the scariest moment on television I've seen in a long long time!!!

4. Burning scene at the end was very well executed too, the arrow shot could have been a bit more impactful though


But yeah overall a very well directed first up. Lots of memorable moments too. Intensity level is right up there with the last episode of Season 4. If this keeps up it's gonna be one hell of a ride!!!!
 
Oh and on the next episode you see that big *** black dragon again. Love the dragon animations, induces my childhood fantasy erections instantly.

I've already seen the episodes but thats a spoiler man. What made it epic was partially because it was unexpected. Not anymore...

To be fair they showed a flash of the dragon in this week's preview. I feel like I already knew that was going to happen.

Going to be tough to resist watching the leaked episodes.

So excited or Arya and Dorne next week.
