What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

1. Towns
2. Okafor
3. Russell
4. Hezonja
5. Mudiay
6. Winslow
7. Porzingis
8. Johnson

Then it all becomes a ****ing mess

Trade up into the top 8 (maybe 9 depending on a reach or two) and you're still golden. Take the best guy on your board and figure out how he fits in later.

I think we end up with a big. Porzingis, WCS, Turner (hope not), Kaminsky, or Portis.

It just seems we are destined to pick one of these. I know that's not true.. but it feels like it, to me.

I feel ya.

I wouldn't leave out Looney as a possibility.

I'd rather stick with and develop Exum. A bird in the hand...

Dunn is someone who could start next to Exum. I'm not assuming the starting SG job is settled. He'd also replace Burke as the back-up PG. he has enough length and quickness to guard either guard spot, as does Exum.

I could see the Jazz insisting that the next guard they bring in is a lights-out shooter.,

I agree the Jazz are likely to use this draft to replace Kanter.

I wouldn't complain about booker
I could see portis but the head band doe.
I like lyles and could be the long term back up at the 4 and could play some minutes at the 3 but I love Trevor.
I am talking myself into oubre just to see what QS can do with him.

personally I want a player with fire in their belly

would love to see a trade down for Justin Anderson

don't want a pg let exum develop. would rather a vet come in and mentor.

on a side note turner might be a good long term fit next to cousins in sactown if they want to keep him. trade up works

looney makes me looney. all over the board with him

Don't need a big since Tomic is coming over.

JK...BPA is always the goal, but there are so many that are ranked tightly together where the Jazz will be picking. Jazz need a backup behind Gobert, could use a stretch-4, and insurance in case Booker gets an offer in 2016 they don't want to meet in order to keep him.

Jazz already have 3 solid wings in their rotation and another two they can bring in as needed (Millsap and Jingles: Joe WILL be back). At PG, I'm not sure they want another young PG. If they bring in someone to replace Trey, it's likely a veteran.

Dunn is the most typical PG in this draft from what I've seen, he's best with the ball in his hands. I don't really see him as a SG to be fair...

His high assist numbers suggested as much as well. I'd much prefer someone who can shoot lights out next to Exum.

Some footage of Porzingis' game today:

On the positive side.. having 3 wings that can shoot, defend, and pass is a blessing. See GSW.
It's less about positions and more about being good at the sport.

Come and get your Portis. This guy just looks like an NBA player to me. For a 6'10" or 6'11" guy he defends pretty well out on the circle. He just needs to prove he can knock down 20 footers.
