Following potential 2015 draftees

Any of them need cap room that we could take off their hands in the trade?

Heh. Charlotte would sure like to move Lance Stephenson. Are we that desperate for #9?

Maybe Miami would like Trey Burke as an insurance policy for Shabazz Napier who went out with a hernia. They could then draft Jerian Grant to keep or use in a trade for another PG. I would consider this if I were Miami, but this only gets us up to 10. Miami might also be better taking Stanley Johnson if he's there.

Sacramento is desperate to appease Cousins. Not sure we can help them or would want to. I don't think they'll give up their pick. They need talent badly.

Out of the box idea - #12 for the rights of Dario Saric? Then buy him out and get him over here along with Ante Tomic?

Charlotte? Lance Stephenson? Big Al?

They wouldn't dump Big Al. They might dump Stephenson. That's a pretty extreme move for the Jazz to make, and whatever player would compel the Jazz to do it would probably compel the Hornets just to take that player.

It's going to be tough to move up.

It looks like he still isn't hitting the 3 reliably. That worries me, would probably just take a chance on the more athletic Dekker.

Saric's contract pretty much locks him up in Europe for two years. We can only contribute like $600,000. I think there is a good chance he will wait 3 years so he will not be bound to the rookie scale contract. This is what Mirotic did.

Yah, you bring up a good point. From what I read, his contract doesn't even have an out before next year. So the earliest we can get him is next summer.

the best chances are charlotte and possible no-sactown

the hornets need shooting desperately if hezonja is off the board oubre, booker, hunter and dekker are probably the next best shooters. all will be available at 12 and maybe a future first or Burke.

kings desperately need a rim protector to pair next to cousin and or a player to spread the floor. they have a couplers they could get rid of to save money Thompson and Landry. I just don't think a player at 12 would entice them unless they fell in love with portis or kaminsky dropped. they could just stand pat and draft wcs.

I would imagine they would want a future first, #12, Burke or pleiss or tomic plus taking one of the 2 aforementioned players Thompson or Landry.

I don't know if this is a bluff so his return can be announced at an awards dinner Saturday, or if all the pundants, beginning with Woj, were off base, but Dunn says he has not made up his mind, and "my dreams are within reach". Well, there's last minute, and then there's last minute. Who knows now, but he could end up declaring Sunday night. His comments have put a damper on the elation Providence fans were feeling last night, that's for sure.....

Yes but I don't think that would go well with Philly's tank idea. He is getting playoff experience while they are tanking and I think we would have to include someone or may be OKC pick. I wouldn't mind including OKC pick tbh.

With the salary cap about to go a mile higher, there may not be a lot of teams needing to dump salary this year. If they are the market would probably put the prices way down.

This works both ways... this is the last year for the next couple years that not every team will have max salary space. the small market teams that are looking to make a free agency splash in the next two years will want to do it this year when there are less teams with space (competition). I could see Sacramento as a potential team that would want to clear some salary... NY maybe with Calderon.
