What combination of our current assets would you trade to get Otto Porter?

Personally, I'd trade Burks+12th pick+Warriors pick for Otto Porter+Wizards pick.

Aren't there less expensive ways to get our fourth wing?
 
His price is going up in these playoffs. I highly doubt they want to trade a current asset for future assets during Wall's prime.
 
This is a good suggestion, but there is a big IF. And it's a BIG IF. This will only work IF Otto Porter gets back into game shape. He just needs to get into game shape, maybe pack on 10-15 lbs of muscle. He might also work with Hakeem in the off season, and those are the keys to success, continually doing those things so people keep thinking you're getting better. So, no, I wouldn't do this deal.

Yeah, the price would likely be too high at this point. Somebody should have thought of this back when we were looking to move Kanter. Leave it to Jazzfanzers to always be late to the party.
 
Why do you assume that Washington doesn't want him? He backs up Pierce nicely, can play a little stretch 4 and can guard 2-4. Pierce probably has one more year and then Porter will probably be their starter, unless they can get Durant.

Nah. His size is fine. He isn't going to be a muscle man. He is the new and improved version of Tayshaun Prince. He does a little bit of everything well and rebounds like a maniac for a SF and uses his length very well defensively. We need his defensive length at the 3.
 
Couldn't we just draft Kevin looney and be happy that he is a better version of Otto porter?

Not assuming that. Part of a trade is that you give up something the other team wants.

Blasphemy, did you bump your head or something? Burks is gonna wreck havoc next season with how hungry he is for playing ball. It'd be extremely stupid to give up on him just like that now.
 
Cy is turning something like a "victory lap" into an exercise in making himself dizzy and stupid. That proposed trade is full tard, brough.
