Worst rendition of the National Anthem ever?

I don't know maybe it is just me but I cannot stand the trend to just scream the Star Spangled Banner as loud as you can. In this one it is particularly bad. She is off-key, reaching for notes she cannot hit, all over the place for rhythm and tone. On top of it all she gets words wrong. What a joke.

Have you ever been to a live concert? I've never been to one that's been without mistakes. The Black Eye'd Peas were out of tone on their songs tonight. Granted, it was just the National Anthem, but she was on the biggest stage of her career - even stars get nervous and mess up. At least she was no Carl Lewis.

Susan Boyle is considered a pro and screws lyrics all the time. List goes on. The Anthem is slaughtered so many times because of nerves, not the in competencies of the singers. (Most the time at least)

And I'm sure that happened within the context of an entire concert or something of that nature. Not when the artists had months to prepare to sing one song.
