Every single best female vocalists list I look at has Christina far ahead of Lady Gaga, or the latter's not even on the list at all. And these are recent lists that have been posted after the shim became famous. Seriously, get a grip. I too like Lady Gaga but she's not even remotely close to Christina as far as vocals go.

I can't remember the last time both the NA and the halftime shows were good.
Anyone else want to take a stab at this?
I guess no one can have a perfect superbowl. Either the entertainment sucks or the game sucks.
For me, I tivoed the game and was about 20-30 mins behind. It was awesome. I could fast forward through all the crappy doritos commercials and halftime.

Don't know who did the halftime show but the Giants-Bills SB had maybe the best NA ever with Whitney Houston and was one of the best games ever.
Count me among the people who thought that NA sucked. I have no idea why they can't find people who can get up and sing a decent rendition of a 2 minute song. Perhaps if she would have done this she could have redeemed herself.

Simple.
Stop getting busty blonds that can't sing to do it. Jessica Simpson can't sing. Christina yells and shows off her breasts.
Get Josh Groban, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Michael Crawford, or some dude from Boys to Men and it'll sound great.
Halftime is simple too. Stop getting sucky groups/people. U2 was ok. But Black Eyed Peas? Outside of the 12-15 year olds, who likes them? And yes, they were off key all night long. And that duet with Slash was retarded.
The Who? They were ok, but a lil old. Same with Paul McCartney (then again, I'm not a big fan).
Bring in Taio Cruz, usher, Mariah, Tobey Keith, or a rock band that still kicks *** (like ACDC or Huey Lewis).

In fact, I'm surprised that Dallas went to the Black Eyed Peas for their entertainment. Why didn't they bring in some country? That would have been fitting. And Toby Keith could have sung about America stickin their foot up some countries ***. Bush and Condaleza rice would have loved that. And Americans would have left the most precious American sporting event feeling a hell of a lot more proud of their country.

She's seriously one of my least favorite artists out there. I'd rather listen to Clay Aiken crying about his boyfriend dumping him than Christina. Or listen to Taylor Swift crying about being dumped by a hansen brother.
To me, she yells way too much. If she didn't have such a figure, no one would even know who she was.

Does anyone remember a few years back when we played Houston (or maybe GS) in the playoffs, and the dude from Air Supply sang the NA in the ESA? He effed it up so bad and had to start over, and even then he could barely get through it. Terrible.
