Following potential 2015 draftees

RJ Hunter's workout video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKGBXWvOrRg

His release is super quick. "You know what I mean?"

Some projection models project him to be a great 3p shooter in the league...

Wow, he says that a lot. I wonder if he's aware that he's doing that.

Why do people do that? It's quite annoying.

New DX mock shows value of getting to 10 if we can... Think heat want to offload McBob and he'd fit here nicely. We need to either be at 9 or 10 to be one spot out of top 9 when someone reaches we grab SJ or Porzingis. I can see Detroit or Charlotte reaching for immediate need.

Also think Payne has a promise from Indiana. He worked out for them then shut down other workouts. Check out Steve kyler on twitter and he was talking about him. There is a small chance someone from that second tier falls to us but I'd love to move up a bit and increase the odds.
Indiana could really use a PG of the future. With Paul George being back from injury it will be a while before they get a lottery pick again. I could really see Bird going with potential here (ala when he picked Paul George) and grab Payne.

I dunno that I'm all that enamored of Porzingis. Watching the DX video he looks really soft. And offensively not so consistent either. I don't get it. Hopefully someone else drafts this year's Vesely?

Huh? Vesely couldn't shoot. At all.

Terrible comparison.

WTF! He doesn't look that athletic in game. That's crazy good for his size and length... and for what he's shown on court. A bit like Eric Gordon... he had crazy test #s but never really translated it consistently on court. I wonder why he didn't test at the combine. That would have been a huge talking point around him since those were the exact concerns about him.

I've said this before, but I'll go ahead and say it again. Okafor slips to #3 after the Lakers take Russ at #2. Now everybody hide and watch.

The guys DX now lists at 12 on down make me feel like the outside looking in. Except for Looney and Portis. I might like them better anyway, but I'd like the option of taking Turner or Kaminsky.

Yep, we're 2-3 spots back from where we really wanted to be. If we can't move up, might be best to trade the pick.

They better not... I've been dreaming of teams scoring 150 a game on that randle Okafor front line.

I wonder what prompted DX to move Kaminsky up to #8. He must have really impressed a few teams in workouts.

I've been saying for a while I don't think they'll draft porzingisvas their stretch big. SVG is coach and GM... He doesn't want anymore losing seasons while a kid develops.

I hope the Jazz work Luis Montero out.. An interesting player at the bottom of the 2nd, would've been a nice get for Coach Antigua at USF.

He's got a one of a kind story, his value has been greatly diminished by just turning 22, when you get past that; He looks explosive, has plenty of length, and handles like a guard. shot 44% from 3 (on 3+ attempts per) for Westchester Community College and put up 3 assists per game. check it out.

A quick aside. I've had a good look at Guillermo Hernangomez checking in on Porz the past 2 seasons. I dont see a 1st rounder or even a fringe first rounder, if he developed into an Aron Baynes or Reggie Evans type that'd be a win..

So you have kaminsky going undrafted huh?
I hope Utah at least give him an invite to camp to try to make the team

Doh! when multitasking goes wrong. Kaminsky is supposed to be 13 push everyone else back 1.
Good list.
Man, winslow at 9 is great value. Would love to trade up to 9 and get justice

I like your list for the most part. Whoops on the no Kaminsky. Vaughn is a fair bit higher than I'd put him (around 25). End of the second is always tough, just so many alright options that could work in certain situations.

For Montero I could see bringing him in to work out later, but draft pick ehh... He has length but is so light... Don't think he could play anything but the 1/2.

Edit: Just saw Kaminsky at 13, looks good!

He will go higher than that, just not higher than Hezonja or Johnson on my list. I dont see his ceiling being much higher than lets say, Andre Iguodala.. Houston Hoops is my favorite AAU squad, I've seen him for quite some time, I believe he's overvalued in a 2013 Trey Burke kinda way. I cant blame him for it, but I'm not gonna turn a blind eye to it.

Fair enough.
I see Jimmy butler type player
