What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

I think a move up to #9 or #8 are very possible if the Jazz are committed to it.

I'm also becoming more intrigued with Looney based on the murmurs that he did well in his workout. He's such a unique player, and he should be a solid rebounder when he adds strength. If that bet pays off, it could pay off well.

My man.

What's New York doing? LOL ...

Duke's Justise Winslow will work out for the Knicks on Monday, league sources tell Yahoo. New York is examining him closely at No. 4.

I would not at all be surprised if they took Winslow. Further I could see Mudiay falling all the way to the Kings. .574 FT% is worrisome for a PG. 12 games in the CBA is also not the greatest resume.

I wouldn't be surprised if they picked WCS.

By the way, these aren't my comparisons. I'm just passing them along. Like I said, these were decided among group of NBA/college coaches.

I hate some of those....

Because a lot of people have suggested trading him to move up in the draft. I'm thinking it's not even possible to trade Burks in this situation though.

Who has $10M in cap space right now other than Philly? Have to think any trade would be done when free agency begins, like the Love for Wiggins deal. But I seriously doubt the Jazz FO is thinking of trading Burks. Every time DL mentions the PG situation, he points out that Hayward, Burks and even Hood can be play makers. I just don't see DL trying to trade Alec after giving him that extension - with the knowledge he had a bad shoulder.

Those comparisons are hilarious. So this draft class will be loaded with allstars? Why not compare most of them to other NBA busts which most of them will be.

I just looked through the last 10 years or so of drafts and it seems like there is usually 2 busts in the top 5 or at 1 bust and 1 who doesn't really live up to the potential. I'm trying to imagine who that is in this draft. Maybe WCS and Winslow?

It's easily WCS. I think Winslow should be good. Maybe not allstar though.

My guess is Russell and Towns will be really good. I think Okafor has a high potential to not live up to expectations.

Mudiay can very easily be Tyreke IMO, I don't know if you count that as bust.

Frank had first workout yesterday with the Suns and needed stitches after he made a spin move into an opponent's head.
