Following potential 2015 draftees

Why so down on Turner?

I was never crazy about Turner when he shot up the HS rankings, mainly because of the way he moves. Some had him rated top-2 or 3 and were saying possibly #1, while Towns 7th or 8th.

I think he turns out solid but not great. The vid released on DX about his running alleviated concerns slightly. At this point I think he's too soft and more of a project than a contributor. Personality wise he reminds me of Channing Frye, obviously Turner has more length, better instincts defensively and is much younger.

He would've been projected higher if not for games like vs West Virginia where he grabbed 1 rebound vs a team of 6'9" and below players, and that abomination of an offensive performance in the tournament vs Butler where he messed up just about every time he touched the ball.

off-topic - Sounds like the Knicks are looking to move up for a late 1st or early 2nd for Mam Jaiteh.

How do you feel about Frank Kaminsky?

How do you feel about Frank Kaminsky?

Right now the 3 players i have the most difficulty pegging are Trey Lyles, Frank Kaminsky and Kevon Looney.

So I'd probably give ya a non-committal answer that applies to all 3 of them. I kinda hope Kaminsky goes 10-12 so the Jazz have more to choose from.

Well Damn..

@PompeyOnSixers
D'Angelo Russell canceled this weekend's visit and workout for the #Sixers, according to multiple sources.

"Nedim Buza is currently in the States, working out for NBA teams before the draft, but at it was expected Telenet Oostende announced today his signing with a three years deal which has an option for a fourth.

The 20 years old Bosnian forward is leaving Spars Serajevo for the Belgium’s champions and his contract is expected to have an NBA buy out option, even if there’s no mention to it in the official press release of the transfer. It remains to be seen if and where he will be drafted, however staying in Europe for the near future is more than possible in any case." https://www.eurohoops.net/2015/06/nba-news/102224

Nedim Buza shoots over 40% on his threes. The jazz had him in for a workout on June 1st, afterwards he strangely announced in teh media interviews he wanted to play in Europe for a season or two more.

My guess is the jazz knew about his desire to stay over there and it fits with their plan for the 54th pick. If he is still available I expect the Jazz to call his name at #54.

That's 'cause he got a promise from the Lakers

I wouldn't be opposed to that. There are worse ways to use a late second round pick.

Just my opinion but I think everyone has post draft Haywarditis. When it comes to Dekker. He might actually be more athletic he's bigger and quick with a great NBA body very strong and a strong defender. He isn't slow either and can finish at the rim.

This. If Dekker is there you take him. Neither Hood or Burks have proven anything. You stack the deck and see who wins out.

Yuck.
Ugly shot (that didn't go in much)
Slow
Bad body language
Looks very tired/lazy
Awkward movements (those pump fakes are weird looking)

He looks like **** in this video.
Bust

Serious. Bust central. Enjoy LA. I've never been that impressed with him.

Not to mention he can play the 4. He's 6-9 220lb's and looks like he can easily put on another 10-15lb's. Everyone's sleeping on him like we did Hayward. Myself included

Considering they are having him shoot NBA 3 pointers and 1 dribble pull-ups in front of the 3pt line, when he hardly even took college mid-range jump shots, his shot looked alright. He is going to be a very good pro.

You guys should keep an eye on Mouhammadou Jaiteh from France. The Jazz have been scouting him along with Rudy, way back 2013.

I think Okafor has very little chance of completely busting, way too skilled for that to happen. But I also think there is a good chance he will end up being something like Al Jefferson.

I just don't see the shooting or ball handling I'd like to from a prospect his age.
