They unloaded Hawes and Barnes for Stephenson.

This is potentially great news for the Jazz. Stephenson has a chance to spread his cancer to the Clippers. Not sure how he fits with CP3 and Crawford, who are both ball dominant guards. Though a lot of people hate Barnes, he was a good piece for their team.

They needed talent. Not a bad move at all for them if you think the vets and rivers can control him.

Rep to anyone who gets themselves hired by the Clippers as a sports psychologist in order to insure that Stephenson never gets the help and advice he so desperately needs. There are several posters here who are so dysfunctional that I would proudly give them endless rep for landing this job.

Wow, you don't trade for Stephenson from a position of strength. Moving Lance to LA, that's the ticket! That has disaster written all over it. Clips will miss Barnes. . .

Barnes is laughably underrated. I feel like half of their roster naturally plays the SG position.

Doc is such a ****ing moron.

Props to Jordan for cutting bait on that psycho. Makes missing out on Hayward that much worse for Hornets fans.

Oh well, at least that means more touches for Al my-nose-has-a-camel-toe Jefferson.

You do have to admit that from 1-5 the Clippers will have the ability to flop on anyone now.

It will be interesting to see Hawes paired with Big Al. Pretty sure that wouldn't work out west, but in the east? So are the Utah Jazz now the only team that Barnes hasn't played for?

Clips must be basing their decisions on NBA2k15. Ever see how amazing Stephenson is in that game? Damn!

No. A number of years ago we picked him up on a 10-day after his stint with the Blue Jays.

Adding Stephenson to a team like the Clippers where their collective mind is incredibly fragile is not the best move on my part. It's almost like the Mavs bringing in the guy that was supposed to break all of Stockton's records. YOu remember him...right?

Wait, what?

Did you just compare Stephenson to Kidd? Are you saying that lance will push the Clips over the top? I don't get it.

I think Stephenson is a tool, but it might not be a bad pick up. If anyone can get Lance to focus it would be Doc.

Also, it seems like he was a cancer on the hornets, and he probably was, but that was like the worst situation he could have been in. He doesn't fit playing next to Al. No one really does.

Barnes is underrated, but he is also 35 years old, and their is a good chance Charlotte buys him out and he goes back.

I think this is a worth while gamble for both teams. For the Clips I think it could end up being a great pick up or a really awful one and nothing in between.
