LeBron is tired...

Of course there was magic Johnson doing all this long before LeBron collapsed. But go on. I'm enthralled. The excuses abound.
Oh snap. Magic had Scott, Worthy, Kareem, Cooper, Rambis, Geen. Pretty much was just asked to play the point for the bulk of his career. Wasn't asked to carry a scoring load or be the team's top defender. Not close, but nice effort, LG.

I'm not a LBJ fan; never have been. I wish there was a way NEITHER team could win a championship. But what he is doing is absolutely incredible. You look at that roster and think there is no way they should have even come close to winning a game. I'm not saying he's the greatest ever. But Jordan didn't come close to a championship until he had Pippin and Grant playing alongside him (and then Pippin, Kukoc and Rodman). Kobe never carried a team without Shaq or Gasol.

I expect GS to win the championship, probably in the next two games. But that doesn't take away from an incredible performance by LBJ.

bron did have wade, bosh, allen, and many good role players in that heat squad, but went 2/4 in the finals. and bron doing everything wasn't supposed to happen. this cavs team were supposed to
be about the new big 3. but unfortunately love and irving got hurt.

Hmmm. So you are remembering Scott, Cooper, Rambis, and Green as all-stars or something? Nice try.

And lets just look at Magic's rookie year against LeBron this year. Magic averaged 41.1 minutes per game, LeBron is averaging 41.8 minutes per game. In that finals series for Magic he played every position during the series, and carried the team to a victory, with an incredible performance in the decisive game.

In Game 6, Magic Johnson played what may have been the greatest game of his career. Playing on the road in Philadelphia, Magic (a 6'9" point guard) started the game at center and eventually played all 5 positions in a dominating performance. Scoring a game-high 42 points and grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds—and handing out 7 assists—Magic Johnson led the Lakers to the NBA crown.

But I suppose that LeBron playing the same number of minutes is playing just, you know, way harder, than any super-star has ever done before. Running up and down the court is much harder for him, and he has more physical exertion or something, you know, because of reasons. And stuff.

Sorry, if you can't tell I am not buying it. I think his whole exhaustion thing is an attention-grab. It is all BS. Or he is the most out of shape super-star of all time.

I think LeBron is the most tired super-star I have ever seen. From collapsing on the court at the end of that one game to multiple reports of being tired throughout the playoffs to being treated for exhaustion or however they phrased it to last night's game where other players have been quoted as saying he (and the rest of the cavs) just looked so tired. Is he the most tired super-star we have ever had?

Do you believe your hate/ dislike for Mr. James has kind of clouded your reasoning? I mean, the dude has been to the finals 5 years in a ****ing row. 5 years!!! That's a lot of ****ing games.

.....hey, watch your language! This is a family board with many young people on it! Now, that being said, we all have to appreciate what James has and is doing! He will top Jordan statistically, but will struggle to tie or beat him in Championships won!

Yeah that's a lot. No doubt. Pretty sure Bill Russell went to the finals more years than that in a row and Magic was there 8 times in 11 years, Kobe 7 in 10 years, but we can split hairs all day long. I am just saying he strikes me as an attention whore more than a tragic hero, as so many here attempt to paint him. Are you sure love for LBJ the Invincible and recency bias aren't clouding your reasoning?

The whole world knows LeBron, the benevolent and mighty, praise be his name, is tired. So I couldn't figure out why the Warriors weren't trying to maximize their advantage there. For instance, if LeBron, the benevolent and mighty, praise be his name, is going to bring the ball up the floor why don't the Warriors have a player dog the inbound forcing Lebron, the benevolent and mighty, praise be his name, to run back to get the ball. If Lebron, the benevolent and mighty, praise be his name, is gaurding iggy, iggy should run wild from baseline to baseline up to the top, then back base line, running Lebron the benevolent and mighty, praise be his name, off of as many screens and bumps as possible. It is just a few extra steps, it is just a little extra energy used, but over 47 minutes it adds up, and could be the difference in the 48 th minute.

This mentality is why I don't like BronBron: "...I'm the best player I the world..." Not disagreeing that he is currently the best player in the world but to say it himself...

So you wanna compare how many minutes Magic played as a rookie to how many Bron is playing after being in the league for over a decade? Makes sense. I'm sure wear and tear on the body and age has nothing to do with that, right?

Besides the fact he's comparing Magic as a rookie and Lebron after thousands of games, he's ignoring the fact that Lebron has nearly always been counted on, to not only facilitate and rebound like Magic, but to carry the scoring load as well. Magic, even in the 1980 finals, had Kareem at 33 ppg and Wilkes at 21 ppg. So basically, Magic was asked to do for one game, what Lebron has had to do for several years.

No matter how you look at it, it simply isn't an apt comparison. There isn't one.

We, especially the media, want players to be open and honest, then when they are, we/they crucify them for it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Pretty ****ing rich coming from a guy who throws around racially derogatory terms like he's at a ****ing klan rally.
