Following potential 2015 draftees

Wow. Haven't been lurking for a while. But the sheer amount of redundancy is so mind blowing...

Seems to me there are a lot of repeat ideas... seems redundant and repetitive... and repetitive.

Not sure. Years ago I heard someone talk about how Korver always lands where he jumped from, so I started doing it and felt like it helped my shot a lot.

Drifting forward is not an issue... drifting side to side (Trey Burke does this) is an issue. Drifting backwards is an issue. Most guys start their shot behind the 3 point line and end with their feet on the line or in front of it.

Check out Korver shooting in the 3pt contest this year though(0:37), his follow thru moves at least the length of his foot, and his shot ends inside the 3pt line.

Top 12? In some order. . .

Towns, Okafor, Russell, Porzingis, WCS, Hezonja, Winslow, Mudiay, Johnson, Turner, Johnson and Oubre?

Jazz should be delighted that the rise of Oubre and Turner makes this draft at least 12 solid. IMO, every team in the lottery has a chance to get a really, really good player. Some will work out, and others won't. . . but I'm pretty happy with where the Jazz are sitting. Especially if they decide to cash in some of those assets and make a run for a guy they love.

Just realized this... we're gonna get a pretty solid player this year, can't wait for the draft!!!!

I would seriously be happy with anyone of those #12 that's for sure!!!!

Almost everyone drifts forward... you are propelling an object toward a goal... your follow through should take you to that goal.

If it is side to side its an issue. Was one of the things I thought was amazing about Jimmer (in college) was that he made a lot of shots drifting side to side.

Did Stanley Johnson work out for us... I forget. Steve Kyler seems to think he did.

With about half of the players potential to bust, jI ust hope we choose the guycorrect .

Johnson so good, He gets picked twice, leaving the Jazz with a small possibility of being left out at #12, unless you like Kaminsky, Booker, or one of the PG.

Even the redundancy in one post as well.

Was thinking about this just now... if we go the swing for the fences potential guy I hope it is Turner or Looney. Both guys seem to understand there is work to do. Oubre scares me as he already thinks he's really good... not sure how he'd handle all the DNPs or lack of playing time.

I'd rather just get Stanley Johnson... he's going to be a small ball four who can also play the 3. He has the same wingspan and standing reach as Harrison Barnes plus about 15 lbs. He rebounded well in college and I think he does more playmaking than Barnes. I think he'd be a great piece to the puzzle who could get some court time next year and really grow to give us the roster flexibility we will need in the playoffs.

Caught that too. Reluctantly added Kaminsky to the list. Not a desired result, but I could live with it. Not on the Devin Booker bandwagon, so I'd rather go big at that point.
