The Official June Trade Idea

I looks like a good, fair deal for both sides. I'd do it in a heartbeat. It's a good use of our assets and gives the team a chance to get a really big upside player instead of hoping one falls to 12. I'd be on board with that.
Would rep stitches if I could (already repped him for another post). I agree with you. It's a fair deal, sends a local hero back to Michigan and moves us up in the draft. Sounds good from Utah's end. Guess it depends on how much Detroit values Burke and if they want to shed salary.

I'm not 100% sure if Utah will have the cap space to absorb the $15m, but I'm 100% in on a David Lee deal. He showed he still has game, is accepting of a bench role, and proved to be a good veteran leader. Utah should be a playoff team next season and I think Lee would be helpful in accomplishing that. It would also come with a couple more assets in the form of future picks, so make it work DL.

It's really hard to make that one work. We have 8.3M in non-guaranteed contracts. That would mean losing all of Booker, Millsap and Cotton + others, and having to include even one more piece(Burke) in order to be able to absorb his 15M salary. They also don't have many assets. The earliest first they can trade is 2019 and I don't know how much this one would be worth...

They don't have any assets worth taking that contract on - except Harrison Barnes. They won't do that. . . so, pass.

They don't have a whole lot to offer that they shouldn't part with... any team that takes on Lee should at least get Ezeli and the 2019 first rounder.

I wouldn't touch Lee unless Barnes was included. They won't do that, so someone else will have to take his contract on. I have no problem renting cap space for assets, but they have to be good assets. GSW has one. Barnes.

I'm right there with you... didn't mean to sound like I disagreed, if that's how you took it.

If Jazz don't have the space, I think Sacramento would be a good spot or back to NY. NY could use a rental of a PF and he was great there. Triangle needs a post player who can pass. With Sac though, he could stay in the Bay Area, be a big upgrade from their current power forwards and be a selfless veteran leader they need. I think if Sac dealt Landry or Thompson, it would work. GSW gets a back-up PF (Landry whom they especially like) and get about $8m in cap space.
